January 27, 201511 yr .. Anyone else seeing Elton John at US Bank Arena on February 27th? My wife's Valentine's Day present....and she is very excited. I think Elton is iconic, and I've seen him before, so truth be told, I'm looking forward to it as well.
January 27, 201511 yr Author Serious question: Does he still do songs from The Lion King? :lol2: I doubt it...but there is one I'd thoroughly enjoy live.
January 27, 201511 yr I really liked 70s Elton a lot. After that - no so much. First album I ever bought was his "Caribou" LP in about 1973 or so.

January 27, 201511 yr Wanted to go but decided not to. My front row seats would have been VERY expensive. Aren't they like $150 a seat for good ones?
January 27, 201511 yr Saw him years ago at Riverbend. Good concert and obviously many songs to sing along with. Always makes me think of the bus scene in Almost Famous when they're singing Tiny Dancer.
January 27, 201511 yr I have seen Elton John twice with Billy Joel and at least 3 or 4 times by himself. Always a great show! Since ticket prices have skyrocketed, I have changed my concert going habits and only attend concerts of those I have never seen before or those who are high on my love list. Sir Reggie did not make the cut.
January 27, 201511 yr Author Aren't they like $150 a seat for good ones? $159 a pop, I believe. Honestly, that didn't seem outrageous for someone as iconic as Elton. In fact, I made the comment I was surprised at how inexpensive the top shelf ducats were. I believe Mellencamp (Cougar)'s best tickets were much more than that, and while I like John C.M., he doesn't reach the rare air of Elton (in my opinion).

I never thought you could sound any whiter than you already do...until this post.
January 27, 201511 yr Saw Elton and Billy Joel in Indy 20yrs ago. Totally enjoyed it. At one point doing one another's songs and that was pretty cool.
