I've seen horrible parents end up having great kids who become successful and I've seen parents who've raised their kids about as well as you can ask and those kids pick a different path and do other things. Not always on the parents and to place that kind of blanket judgement is silly.

January 16, 201511 yr "There are concerns of pregnancy." "Mother has been estranged from her daughter for 10years ." So mom stopped being a mom when girl was 3yrs old. Heck yeah a big chunk of the blame is on the parents! Quit focusing on your eyebrows and be a mom!
January 16, 201511 yr Can't always judge a book by it's cover...but in this case I'm going to. One look at the mom's picture before I played the video, and I think it's pretty easy to see...meth, crack, pills, maybe all the above...something, you can just see it on her. Then finding out the fact that she lost custody 10 years ago? Yep, no mother of the year candidate here and I guarantee the mother had been "messed up" for a while, and if not now definitely in the past. Dad? Who the heck knows.:idunno: Didn't see a thing mentioned about him in the story. Little wonder in this case why this little girl is in the situation she is.
