went fishing this past sunday at a sportsmans club in midway. Myself, brother, and dad went and tried to ignore the cold as much as possible, caught around six bass each, the lure of choice.. a double tailed yamamoto, yamamoto lizard, and a plastic rootbeer colored powerbait. For the first time i got checked by a game warden and didnt have any problems at all with the guy, except for the fact that the owner of the club forget to tell us about the mandatory membership pass which wasnt given to us..... Fishing is gettin hotter as the weather does also!!!

Sunday, April 6th - Saturday, April 12th

Pickwick Lake, Tennessee

Weather Very Unstable - Storms Sunday, Fair Monday-Tuesday, Cold, Rain, Wind Wednesday, Cold Windy Thursday, Nice 70 Friday. Lake Falling about 4" per day. 61-65 Degrees

Very Slow Monday - Lots of short fish

Tuesday - Much Improved, Our Best Day, Lots of Crappie and about a half dozen 1 to 1 1/2 Pound largemouth

Wednesday - Incredibly lousy conditions, caught a few, very sporadic

Thursday - A Few Short Fish

Friday - Good Conditions, Lots of short fish, one or two keepers

Overall - Not a good trip to Pickwick. They had a Busch Tournament there all week, over 60 boats, nobody did any good. Will go back 1st or 2nd week of May and try again. Normally do well.
