January 11, 201511 yr If the kid is as bad as many on here suggest, then how desperate must Murray be? What makes you think they are desperate?? They are taking a chance on one kid. He's not making or breaking their program. Murray will have football with or without Zeke. If he fails, it doesn't hurt them at all. If it works out, everybody wins. If he qualifies academically to get into the school, again what harm is here in letting him play football??
January 11, 201511 yr Count me in the "I doubt it" crowd. You may be right. But it would make a great story of he was able to turn things around. Maybe he will and maybe he won't. Who am I to make that decision.

January 11, 201511 yr Isn't getting kicked off of the team for your actions "being held accountable?" Not when offered another free ride and then after getting kicked off another team and getting yet another full ride. No it is t holding him accountable for his actions. it sends more of a message saying you can do whatever you want and you will still get a free ride no matter what. That is more of the message it sends.

No biggie. I am of the school where I feel people should be given a second chance but when they continie to do the same thing again and again then they shouldn't be rewarded for those actions. Thats is just me. I feel he is being rewarded AGAIN. Sorry, but we just have different value systems. as I said, if he walked on then I think that is great. It means more that he is actually working hard to be on the team instead of being handed it again.

I never said he shouldn't be able to play football. What I said was I disagreed with recieivng another full ride to play football after ruining your last severa Chances at that. I said he should be held accountable for his actions and if he wants to play he should have to walk on. That's all. Never said he shouldn't be allowed to play football at all.
