Cowboys playoff chances

Featured Replies

I don't know why but I keep

thinking of this Cosboy team the same as I thought about the Parriots the first time they wn the SB.

The Patriots had a playoff game handed to them with one of the worst calls ever when they used the tuck rule and instead of losing that game like they should have they went in to win it all.

Reminds me me of the Cowboys and their win against Detroit. So aybe history is going to repeat itself

this year.

As much as I'd love to see the Cowboys win, I think Green Bay will beat them this Sunday unless Rodgers is hurt worse than I think. At home, Rodgers is just crazy good!

They have a chance, but it depends on how much they let the cold bother them, GB is used to it, Dallas isnt.

If Im Jerry Jones I make them practice outside in shorts somewhere in GB to get used to the cold.

Whoever teh winner is will still have tough time at Seattle.

Best thing is Dallas and Carolin both win and play at Dallas

Going to be a balmy 20 degree high Sunday. If Rodgers is healthy I think Green Bay wins.

As someone mentioned, tough to see either one winning at Seattle the following week.

I actually agree. I was just talking to someone the other day about who I think we will see in the Super Bowl, and said I thought it would be Patriots vs. Cowboys matchup.

Yeah, even if the Cowboys win at Green Bay, it'd be awfully tough to beat Seattle at home twice.

I'm not sold Seattle beats Carolina. Carolina is arguably the hottest team playing this week. Their defense has been stellar these last few weeks and when they played Seattle earlier this season in Carolina the Seahawks won that game in a come from behind victory by the score of 13-9. And Carolina was crap at that time. I'm not saying that Carolina is going to win but I don't feel like it is a foregone conclusion that Seattle advances.

Now, this should be the best game of the weekend. Even if Rodgers is hurt it doesn't matter. He was 11-13 for 102 yards after he got hurt against Detroit and their defense is better than the Cowboy's defense. In order for the Cowboys to win they need to ride Demarco Murray until the wheels fall off and keep Rodgers off the field. I don't feel like the Cowboys defense can stop Rodgers. But Demarco Murray can stop Rodgers. It should be a great game.

Cannot wait to see this game. One of the best home teams in the NFL hosts the best road team in the NFL. I love both QB's and both RB's are total studs. I think Lacy is a total stud. Runs as hard as anyone in the NFL. Dallas 27 Green Bay 23

Carolina could pull it off.... But Seattle just has so much confidence at home. Their home crowd is pretty awesome. I'd like to see Carolina win it though.

Rodgers injury may be just what the Cowboys need to get over the hump to the division Championship.

I think Seattle beats Carolina and it's not even close. Carolina beat one of the worst teams in the NFL last week and they barely beat them. Cam Newton was not very good at all in that game either as he wasn't good thru most of the season. I just don't see them keeping it close against Seattle. I also don't think Cowboys will beat GB but anything is possible.

Rodgers has a partially torn calf muscle....Will play through it though. I still think Green Bay manages to win, as they are out of this world good at home.

I see no way Carolina even stays in the game with Seattle. Seattle's defense has been ridiculous the last half of the season, and Carolina just lost one of their best defensive players in Star Lotulelei.

I think Seattle is overrated. I think it will be closer than people think. I think the NFC West has been overrated all year.

I cannot wait to see how injured Rodgers is. If he's that hurt they should just shut him down and try again next year. No way they win the Super Bowl with Rodgers at 50% in round 2 of the playoffs.

Did you consider Arizona one of the worst teams in the NFL all year? Or just saying they are now since they had a 3rd string QB playing?
