That just isn't enough to be No. 6 in the state. Boyle County is a solid win on paper but taking all things into consideration, not really. Scott County is a so-so win.

Could it be that they only lost to two teams from KY? Not saying that Lex Cath deserves the #6 ranking. Just throwing out reasons.

Lexcath isn't top 10...regardless of how anyone looks at it. They would be the 4th best team in the 9th region and 7th region.

When you go through the maze of victories and losses by all of these teams these ratings don't make any sense at all.

 

I hate to factor in how KY teams do against out of state teams because we have no way of knowing how good an out of state team is.

 

At the same time, we have a common out of state opponent:

 

#7 Scott County lost to Shadow Mountain(AZ) 67-47

 

#8 Knott County Central beat Shadow Mountain(AZ) 69-56

I could care less about Scott Co record. I have watched them 4 times and all was with DJ playing. They was not top 7 with DJ playing and they def aint now.
