Why does Jared from Subway still look awful?

Featured Replies

10 years plus of being the socially inept spokesman for Subway and he still looks like garbage. How does he still have a contract?

Because he's gold for them. Sales went up huge when he became their spokesman. He's made something like fifteen million off them.

I'd look bad (okay, worse) if I ate nothing but lettuce and bread, too.

Maybe he's just an unattractive dude.. I dunno?

Unfortunate features?:lol2:

Yes, ever time I see that commercial I look at him in a way to judge how he looks, is he attractive? Unattractive? Looks good or bad?

I'm sorry but I don't judge people like that, especially guys ;)

LOL.

LOL.

All the commercial does to me is make me hungry, lol. Actually most food commercials I turn off as quick as I can so I don't run out and eat at that place. lol

He lost all that weight but his sodium has to hurt his BP.

I would have to be pretty daggone hungry for a Subway commercial to tempt me. Although I do take advantage of the $2.00 specials from time to time.

Fine, but when the point of the commercial campaign is to promote how healthy someone looks due to your food, you better find someone that looks healthy. Guy has no muscle tone and and looks like he is still at 30 percent plus body fat. Frustrates me, he still looks incredibly unhealthy.

He looks better than me but I think I have a better personality.

Just because he doesn't have any muscle tone doesn't mean he is unhealthy. There are many out there who live a healthy lifestyle that don't necessarily look jacked up or tone. While I don't think he looks healthy to a complete degree, compared to where he was and where he is now, it's almost two completely different people. While he might not be perfect, Subway uses him as a promotion to say that if you eat healthy and look where it can take you. Granted it takes A LOT more than that to lose that much weight but in a way it gives hope and motivation to others.
