May 12, 201511 yr @GrizzlyAdams just after reading the 1st book of The Wheel of Time, it's incredible to see the parallel's between the world Jordan creates and the one Sanderson creates in the Mistborn trilogy. Also see a ton of parallel's with Lord of the Rings as well.

Also see a ton of parallel's with Lord of the Rings as well. The LoTR parallel is very very obvious:lol2:. Regardless, I'm into the 3rd book and it's great. I know it falls off after the 6th book but I love it. I took a break to re-read The Name of the Wind, which I highly recommend. I'll get back into it here soon.
