January 2, 201511 yr I am not a big Jameis fan, but I loved how he went to his wr that just lost the fumble, and consoled him and patting on the head letting him know he has his back. Says a lot about him as a leader! People slam him because his off the field issues but gimme Jameis the player 8 times a week.
January 2, 201511 yr I haven't watched enough of Oregon to know, but at least tonight it looks to me like Oregon's defense constantly tries to create turnovers. Every tackle they are trying to strip the ball. Their defense is a bend but don't break, create turnovers defense.

If your offense is giving the ball back over to Oregon, your D gets gassed even more than they already were. After a few punches, I think on top of that FSU rolled over, their image and standing to others be damned.
January 2, 201511 yr Author 59-20 Oregon now with 10:13 left in the game as Oregon continues to punish FSU for their errors, and the Noles have no fight left in them. In about 11 minutes of gametime, Oregon has scored 34 points.

January 2, 201511 yr People will absolutely say now they didn't deserve to be, but if you believe nothing else, believe that the precedent of leaving an unbeaten team from one of the major conferences on the outside is a terrible, terrible precedent to set year one. Even without that, I of course believe they belonged. They proved they could stand toe to toe for more than half of this game. But momentum will destroy you and if you don't respond properly against a team like this, you'll get embarrassed. FSU absolutely could still be showing better than this but have started making unforced errors on top of the ones Oregon forced. And Oregon is a very good team and punished them. SEVERELY. They definitely belonged in the playoffs! No way they could leave an undefeated and defending national champion out of the Final Four.
