TCU-Ole Miss Updates

Featured Replies

TCU is totally crushing Ole Miss in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, leading 28-0 at the half. Making a statement.

Maybe they should have been in the top 4 after all. This kind of whooping might make a few of the committee members second guess their Final Four picks on hindsight.

Either that or Ole Miss has been badly overrated all year. Their QB Wallace is having a terrible day, but the Frog's defense is stifling.

Both. Ole Miss has been fool's gold all year and TCU got the shaft in their minds. Statement.

Ole Miss wheels came off a long time ago...this is ugly.

Wow. TCU is the real deal.

I guess that doesn't say much for Bama? Ole Miss beat Bama! SEC is weak!

The selection committee should have had them in the playoffs IMO. I thought so as soon as they made their picks. Big injustice.

Plus, it's Bo Wallace. Seriously, would anyone rely on that guy to win anything? He's been around for 14 years now at Ole Miss and he had about 5 worthwhile games.

It's funny that TCU was in, but got bumped out to allow OSU in. You could make a case for either team, but the way TCU is playing right now they could beat anyone in the country. This four team playoff system is going to be a joke and full of controversy. They need to invite at least 8 teams.

You're missing the whole point of the newly created "playoff" system. "Full of controversy" is what they are aiming for. Hook, line, sinker.

I can't understand how they pulled that one off. I guess being at home, and also at full strength at that time, helped them. Bama still had chances to win anyway and fumbled it away.

All this does is prove what I have been saying all year long. Notre Dame proved it last night. TCU is proving it today. Ohio State will prove it tomorrow.

TCU is making a major statement right now.

The 4 most deserving teams made the playoffs. Pure and simple.

And Ole Miss couldn't come within 4 touchdowns of Alabama right now.
