December 31, 201411 yr You're missing the whole point of the newly created "playoff" system. "Full of controversy" is what they are aiming for. Hook, line, sinker. I know what you are getting at. But there was a ton of controversy with the old BCS system too. They changed it to to pressure from the schools and media to do so. But in reality, they didn't change much and eliminated none of the controversy. The guys in charge at the NCAA probably can't find their way home from work without TomTom telling them where their house is. They seem to screw up everything they put their hands on.

I agree losing Treadwell is a major loss but it's an SEC school, only B10 teams can fall back on the we lost 1 guy excuse.
