He is terrible period and should have already been fired a couple of times. He lost twice to Houston (so they actually won playoff games) in the playoffs, and that coach was fired. C'mon. Marvin is white bread. It is why Mike Brown likes him and keeps him, and that should tell you all you need to know.

I understand where you are coming from. My statement would be that the Bengals have made the playoffs 4 straight years. Whoopee doo. The NFL is set up so various teams come up and make the playoffs. The key is to do something once you are in there. Would you rather be the Ravens not having made the playoffs each of the last four years, but with a Super Bowl ring or the Bengals making the playoffs every year without a single win in them? The Bengals are now slightly above average, but have remained at that level for the past few years. Neither Joe Flacco nor Andy Dalton is any kind of superstar QB. Talents come and go in the NFL. I do believe GREAT coaches can lead their squads to Super Bowls. Good coaches can land in the playoffs.

The Bengals have AJ recovering from a concussion, a WR from the practice squad that nobody else wanted and people still think the Bengals are going to win? Wish I was in Vegas right now. While playing Indy is Dalton going to get more of his receivers killed while throwing inaccurate passes across the middle? We shall see. Haven't heard any who-deys lately, the fans are quiet.

They are very respectable now. I am not a fan of his but to be fair, he has done some good things for the Bengal organization. I don't know the answer to this but I bet less than 5 teams have gone to the playoffs the last 4 years in the NFL. To make the playoffs in any year is an accomplishment in the NFL.

Dynamic coaches paired with dynamic QB's usually win out in the NFL. The league is set up for everyone to be around the .500 mark. Marvin is not a buffoon at all but not the guy that is dynamic enough to win big in the NFL. Neither is A Dalton. A pro team should strive for excellence. It is all about winning at that level, not selling jerseys and hoping people buy enough season tickets to get you by another year. Mike B needs to man up and have a desire to be the best, not just status quo.

The Bengals need Sanu, Gresham, and Gio to step up in the passing game this week.

 

Additionally, we have to hope that Tate, Little, and Hamilton can hold their own when called upon.

If Green doesn't play, then our top three pass catchers going into the year won't be playing in the playoff game. Hopefully defense plays great and creates turnovers and hopefully the run game is working even against the Colts loading the box.
