Who likes cloudy, cold winter days?

I only like them when I have nowhere to be and nothing to do but sit at home and read a good book, listen to a bunch of records, or watch a good movie or two. That opportunity doesn't arise very often, but when it does, I'd definitely put cloudy and cold winter days in the plus column.

I need sunshine to function. Once in a while cold and cloudy is ok...when it hangs on for days, I get very depressed. To me, this is the downside of the lower midwest (Kentucky) and the upper mid-west (Michigan). I have lived in both and found winters very depressing. I have lived also in Colorado and Massachusetts, and while colder, both were sunnier in the winter.

Nothing worse than a freezing cold day filled with sunshine. If it's going to be cold then I want it dark and murky.
