Dixie gets the 20 point win, game was never close. Mismatch from the start.

Think the Birds will compete well with teams not in the top 5 in N KY. Well Dixie is a top 5 team and the game was not very competitive.

Dixie scored the games first 12 points and led at one point in the first half 27-2. HHS went on a 5 point run to end the half - 27-7. Dixie is too big, too strong, too talented, too deep for the Bluebirds.

Dixie subbed liberally in the second half and the Birds made a few shots to keep the score from looking miserable.

Bright spots for HHS - played hard on defense, Dixie earned their point total, and senior Kenny Ball can stroke the 3 ball - give him room and he will bury it. Four more 3 balls tonight for the 3 point specialist.

The Secret Weapon

Who is Dixie getting back from the football team?

When do the Birds play Ryle?

When will Highlands football players join the team? or have they already?

They have joined...

They played on Friday against St Henry and were most of the Bright Spots for only having 4 true practices under their belts. Love what Listerman is doing in Ft Thomas. He is surrounding himself with some very good quality coaching and it is starting to show immediately. Just give it time boys!

Sorry, no offense meant in a bad way. The name Flynn (I was at Holmes when Reynolds Flynn was there) makes me think of Coach Shields at Highlands. No dig meant.
