Glad I finally got a chance to come out of the shadows and meet a few of you. Lawildcat, Clyde, Qryche, Run to State, And a few others I cant remember. Probably would have met more, but had a great, long conversation with Hellbird. We can be friends now that Scott and Cooper are no longer in the same district in football.

What a blast Meeting everyone last night and I can definitely say someone overserved me Killians by some Young bartender. Ughhhh

 

First time Meeting GT, BigVman, Hellbird,FTTS, rjs, Bengalmaniac which was a pleasure.

 

Last time I saw Sweep he was seated at a table by himself and the struggle looked Real. Lol Jag is the devil.

 

Cant wait for the next get together.

So glad I made the effort to go! Was nervous about where I could park my school bus, but I successfully parallel parked it in front of the Chinese restaurant, which made me think of Randy Parker, who I did not get to meet. :(

I was really having a difficult time hearing there, add to that that I lost my voice, so communicating was a challenge. If I was introduced to you and did not list you, my apologies.

 

I was there for about an hour and a half too long. Someone should have cut me off.

Great evening. Met some new and "re-met" a few others. It did my heart good to see a group of people that reside in relative anonymity, and at times do not agree on issues, be able to come together and share good times. Great group of people…and for a few of you, let's do it again once you have recovered sufficiently.

Was a little worried about Sweeperboy this morning, hope he made it home ok and seeing zero posts from him at 12:30 today I would guess he is still sleeping it off.

 

Lawildcat I can't begin to tell you how great it was to meet you and Mr cat last night and dinner with you all and BigmanV and Lawmboy and his better half, and I DI mean better half, was awesome.

 

Could have ive talked to Thinderbirds all night, what a great group! RJS and I could have talked football until the cows came home and getting to see Mrs Plant was awesome too, so it proved someone actually did say yes to plant lol.

catch up after 30 years was awesome too!

 

Mexitucky, can't tell you how much I enjoyed our talk and how much life's struggles sometimes can truly show the strength behind some usernames is inspiring.

 

Hoops, wow, what a super lady! Can't write enough great words to describe what a wonderful person she is.

 

Clyde brought his bride which was great as she and mrs Lawnboy and mrs HB spent most of the night together. Mentschie as always was great to see again!

 

Next at time white elephant gifts are going to be a part of the get together, I just don't want Run to states, his scares me lol j/k

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up last night! Next time, we'll have to pick a better venue with no smoking and less loud music. The Compound is always open for guests! It was great meeting everyone and putting some faces to the names though! Dinner was awesome and so glad BigV made the trip and joined us for that!

 

Hoops - you are my hero! How you are able to juggle getting kids to sleepovers and basketball games and still have the time to bake us some yummy goodies is beyond my comprehension!

 

I am sorry I didn't get to meet Clyde's better half. Let me just tell all those who brought their wives that each of you outkicked your coverage! I enjoyed talking to Bengal Maniac's wife and Hellbird, your wife didn't need any help feeling at ease! She is very delightful!

 

Glad I finally got to meet the man whose name shall not be pronounced who interestingly enough resembles the man who shall not be named (if you're up on your Harry Potter). Minus the nose, of course! (Yeah, that's for calling me, ma'am). Met TFVH and realized I already knew him. :thumb:

 

I'm so glad everyone got home safe and sound! It was a blast hitting up my old stomping grounds; I don't get back to Caketown near enough! :angrybird12:

 

...and finally, thanks to Guru for bringing us all together! He jerked my chain for awhile about this whole get together so it was a pleasant surprise when he walked in the door! Loved meeting your g/f as well and thanks for giving my old neighbor a big hug on the way out the door! He thought you were Mr. lawildcat! :lol:
