What's your go to Salsa?

Featured Replies

For me it's Green Mountain Gringo. Awesome stuff.

It's all good!

I'll take a jar of that in exchange for the chicken dinner you still owe me.

Kroger hot.

I'm glad someone else mentioned Kroger because I think they have a great salsa. Not too watery and not too chunky either. I'm a wimp and go with their mild though.

I make my own.

Probably at the same time Mr. LA Wildcat makes his jerky. Still waiting for that invite!

Not a big fan of anything in a jar off the shelf.

I prefer my own, but when I buy it, I buy La Mexicana Salsa from the produce department at Publix.

When my mother was alive, she absolutely LOVED Publix key lime pie. Thanks for the memory!

I can't even eat store bough salsa anymore. I have a decent sized garden in the back and we grow everything my wife needs to make salsa (except the garlic and other seasonings). Nothing like eating it right after its made.

The Kroger brand salsa is pretty solid. I frequently use it for my super-duper queso dip.

My go-to salsa is my uncle's homemade.

I used to go for regular Kroger brand medium or hot salsa, and then somebody had Kroger's organic "Simple Truth" salsa at a party I went to. I couldn't care less about whether or not it's organic...but the Simple Truth Medium Salsa is fantastic. It's all I buy.
