Just wanted to tell ya

Reggie Miller???? Sheryl Miller, Miller Lite???? I'm confused.

I would think this is talking about Stuart Miller from Middlesboro?? Is this official?? Scholorship, walk on, preferred walk on?? He is a great player and could fit into to Ricky P's system.

Stuart Miller from Middlesbora, any stats or position he played? Scholaships or just walking on???We neeed some more info so we can send a scouting report to Tubby for next year.

Walk-on

Keep those great, in-state, high school players coming!

Congratulations and good luck to Mr. Miller

He's either going to turn out to be Cameron Mills or Jody Thompson.

Oooh! Oooh! I know this one!

Congrats to Stuart. Good kid. Is this official though? No link or anything, so I was just curious.

Miller has indeed verballed to UofL as a preferred walk-on.

Congrats to a great shooter and a great athlete. Good luck at the next level, and make the most of a once in a lifetime oppurtunity that few get, and many dream of.

Congratulations to a great kid.

If he goes up to Louisville and works his butt off like he does here than the sky will be the limit for him,he will only get better by playing for one of the best coaches in college basketball Coach Rick Pitino.

Good Luck Stuart!!!!!!!

The report on WYMT stated that he had D1 offers but opted to take a preferred walk on at UL. What D1 schools offered? I have seen him play and in the words of Dicky V "he can flat out shoot the rock".

Congrats to this young man for getting to play for a great coach!!! :thumb:

Anybody want to explain a preferred walk on in basketball?

Don't sugar coat it. A walk on is a walk on in basketball.

It simply means that he does not have to try out. A preferred walk on is recruited by the school. A regular walk on is (in some schools) goes through a tryout process like the Knight School but less time.

Most larger schools don't even use the term "preferred" any longer because its assumed that the coach will choose whom he wants anyway.

I thought that CH 27 Dick Gabriel reported Miller was going to UK. Did anyone else hear this????????????????
