Beau Hoge's Incredible Run!

You know what I mean! But I can remind you that CCH beat your beloved Colonels earlier in the year. So like I said the Blue Colonels tackled enough Red Colonels to win that day..

And if you can connect the relevance of Week 1 to the regional championship for me I would love it. I'll wait...

No relevance at all. Just like your post has no relevance to one of the best runs I have ever seen in a high school game. Moore is a very good runner but not near as elusive or passer that Beau is.

I was unaware that Hoge made this run in a CCH-Dixie game. Thanks for pointing that out as I missed the Dixie players in the video and how they relate to this play. I'll be more aware next time. :thumb:

A few tackles were missed because of Hoge's moves, not denying that, but there were also just missed tackles by CCH.

Yeah I guess seeing it live and seeing it on video are two entirely different things. While being there and seeing it live most likely allowed you to listen to the fans cheer, I probably saw the same thing you did though.

And it's not hard for me as a non HHS fan to admit them doing something good. I'm actually pretty sure I have been complimentary of Highlands in the past. But wear your blue glasses and generalize about everyone else if you must!

In any highlight reel run there are missed tackles.

Where did I say Moore was a better passer or more elusive than Hoge? I believe I said Moore has had good runs too. Has he not?

Also pretty sure I gave Hoge credit for good vision and a good run but you want to bring up the DH-CCH game for some reason when it has 0 to do with the run by Beau.

Don't put words in my mouth just because you made a terrible attempt at connecting completely irrelevant topics.

I agree with that and don't doubt it one bit. I would enjoy seeing a highlight reel of Moore runs. I just don't think he has one nearly as good as this Hoge run.

Watched the video and you are correct. Many very nice ones though.

Dixie QB Drew Moore has done this all year but doesn't have a dad that works for ESPN. That was really cool though to see NKY football on sportscenter.

Against who??? Seemed like you played this same team before.

Maybe there isn't a clip where the defense missed numerous tackles and got blocked in the back but Moore has had many good runs.

Really??? Haters always hate. Moore is a good runner and okay QB. But not in Hoge's league. Have you seen Hoge play???

Threads are being started for other players.

It was a good, not great, but good run by Beau. If Cov Cath players could tackle, there isn't a thread for this run because he would've been stopped well before the endzone. I'll give it to him that it was good vision.

Seemed to tackle pretty well in week 1!

Maybe a better schedule would have helped CCH tackle better, lol.....

You HHS fans have thin skin. Once again, I said it was a good run and complimented Hoge for his vision. Also, I never said Moore was a great QB or in Hoge's league, I only said Moore has had some good runs as well. Nothing else.

And yes I have seen Beau play.

Once again, not sure how Week 1 is relevant to the Regional Championship (Week 13).

Sweet! Last week Seth Keller for Cooper had 2 pick 6's in the game, I thank you for your help. I will expect that to see it on the top ten this week. Thanks.

Send it in. I'm sure they will show it.

Really guys? Your are arguing because a NKY kid got a spectacular play replayed on a national sports station. Yes, 100's of Kentucky High School players make spectacular plays every Friday night. And yes they are rarely broadcast on a National sports station. But you should be glad the attention has been brought to the great state of Kentucky and more importantly to Kentucky High School Football rather than the Florida's or the California's or the Texas's of this great nation that regularly get the national attention.

Don't shoot the messenger. Looks like in this case it was the top notch broadcast students at Highlands that sent it in. They do a great job announcing the games, shooting video for the jumbo tron and in this case sent footage to a national media . Kudos to the Highlands Broadcasting students.:ylsuper:

Yes, very nice job indeed by the broadcasting students! I was at the 1st HHS/CCH game this year and while I was initially shocked that they had a pregame show, halftime show and sideline reporter, I think it is great that HHS is getting students involved in the games (and they do a good job on top of it.) :thumb:

My son listened to the HHS Internet broadcast and they hinted that they would have video next year. Video students already film school board and council meetings, more to come?

Not saying anything about weekly comparisons...I'm saying they must not be that bad of a tackling team...as you want to point out. Are you saying they were good tacklers in week one and not anymore? Has nothing to do with "championship week"...we are talking about Cov Caths tackling ability.

And BTW...Thin skinned?...none of this is going on if Moore wasn't brought up and compared to Hoge on Hoge's thread.
