1st congrats to the Rams on another regional championship. I'm having trouble posting because I'm having trouble with Safari, have no computer access at home right now, and Forum Runner keeps crashing when I try to post.

 

I asked earlier, but nobody answered. Are there any common opponents among the two teams, or any common opponents among other teams on their schedule? Such as did Williamsburg play anyone that may have played Ashland?

I do not think there are any common opponents. The closest I can think of is Fairview played and lost to Hazard. Williamsburg beat Hazard and we defeated Fairview twice. I really don't think this means anything but at least I acknowledged your question.

From what happened last year, only Ram coaches should have this view Saturday night. Probably should move condemn about 3/4 of the visitor side bleachers as well!!

O.K., Lets see, first of all as best I can remember I only read the Raceland fans giving W-Burg credit and praise after last years semi final game. I know that's what I did and I fogot the name now but there was some W-Burg bell ringer on here then popping off even when no one was arguing with him. As a matter of fact I remember them poping off to Mayfield fans and I think we know how that turned out, uh :lol2:? Not a lot a person can do with someone like that.

As for this thread, about all I gather from your most insightful post are that you are trolling for an argument but like the one last season, no one wants to waste their time. I get it that you believe that W-Burg will win. That's fine, I don't have a problem with your opinion. That (who wins?) was the original thread question.

People on this tread aren't arguing with you at all. What I have seen is some pointing out some obvious charactaristics of some and their beliefs on the game. I don't understand why, if you are trying to provoke something but I guess that's you. :idunno:. At any rate, I have read enough of your "baiting" to know that it's really kinda obvious......

Now, your Williamsburg team obviously has a very, very good team and from what I gather quite a lot better than last season. Congrats on that and you should be proud. As for anything else ......not really worth my time. :walk:

Doesn't really matter what any of these unpaid armchair assistant coaches think. They're not playing. The players and coaches believe the RAMS can win, and that's all that really matters.

 

I agree with this in one sense but I believe that by this point all players and coaches believe they can win.

Seeing this and the other pictures of the stadium makes me feel old. The last time I was there was back in 1995 when my team played.

Well, my last game was 10 years before that. LOl

This years Williamsburg team is much improved over last IMO...RB Fred Massey transferred in from Harlan Co, this has made us more balanced toward the run...Skyler Griffith has taken over at QB, he played WR last year and actually broke his leg in the first series against Raceland last year...Skyer played QB on the middle school team that won state...Skylar is a very gifted athlete, he can beat you with his feet and arm...That is what has changed from last year, other than that everyone is back...

 

Any team better bring their A game at this point in the season including Wburg...We are a better team than last year, there is no question about it...Raceland I am sure is better...Wburg took care of business last year against Raceland so there is reason to be optimistic, but that's the reason we line up and play them..Had a chance to meet a few folks down here last year including your principle, good people...Looking forward to making the trip up there, go big orange...
