I watched Williamsburg earlier in the season against Newport and was very impressed with their speed. IMO, they will make it back to Bowling Green.

 

Ironically, that is the game that causes me to wonder how good Williamsburg really is. It is the game that makes think if they get to the championship game, they will not have enough to win. The Hazard regional final win is by far their most impressive win of the year.

From what I have read Williamsburg has a good run defense with an iffy pass defense. Raceland wins this game if they can find a way to move the ball and if they play focused for 4 quarters.

Williamsburg is solid in just about every aspect of the game. If the Rams don't show up ready to play, it could be a big Williamsburg win.

The only thing I am worried about is can the Rams come out early and get a lead soon. ThenRams came out flat against Fairview a couple weeks ago. If they do that, they'll be watching Williamsburg playing for a championship.

Well, Williamsburg is far and above the favorite in this one. Hopefully, playing at home will give us some advantage in which to build on and an opportunity to win. We aren't a bad team but we have to win this one to prove we are a good team. I hope to meet any of you BGPers from Williamsburg if you make the trip. Same with me, I'll be close to Doc during the game.

Doesn't really matter what any of these unpaid armchair assistant coaches think. They're not playing. The players and coaches believe the RAMS can win, and that's all that really matters.
