Trinity 21-7.

I think that T's defense will be tough, but not so much to hold Meade to a shutout. Im a bit biased as a Meade fan, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say 12-10 Meade. I do believe that Meade has to play a near perfect game and win the turnover and penalties battle to have a legitimate shot here. But I have faith that Meade can beat the rocks at home.

Male is a great team, I believe we held them to their second lowest score during the season. We really should have won that game but we had several key injuries on offense that hurt us.

Meade County went to the State Championship game last year and Trinity didn't.

Trinity played a much tougher schedule than Meade County this year.

 

SO WHAT....

 

None of that matters. I look for Trinity to completely shut down Meade's offense. Can Meade do the same? I think they can. Where does that leave you? Kicking game and turnovers. I don't know either's kickers. But you win here and you win Friday.

I believe if we are healthy we should have won. Thats my opinion I don't care if you like it or not. We also dropped passes..missed blocking assignments and fumbled on a kick off...just like Male dropped some passes. I don't know how much sports you watch but your argument of if we didn't drop a pass we win..if we don't miss that extra point, if Dale jr doesn't blow a tire and break a shifter he might have won the NASCAR championship. The fact was Male did drop those passes and we didn't make enough plays on offense to win...

Thats the one area we are good in. Our FG kicker can hit a 40 yarder consistantly.

MC's QB runs the ball A LOT, will be interesting for sure... only 4 days left! The weeks seem to fly by once you get to the playoffs and make a run, crazy

That would make the home / Trinity section an interesting site in the 2nd half. The combination of "I wouldn't suggest you sit on our side" guy, and the "I sit where I want" guy should make for some interesting banter if it is one-way traffic after halftime.

We miss multiple Extra points a game regularly. Missed 2 or 3 against Henry Clay, 2 vs. Scott County and 2 last week. I think we have made 3 or 4 FG this year. Our kicker does have a strong leg though. He attempted a 47 yarder and missed but had the distance.

Every time a team losses or performs lower than expected they have a reason why...its never the other team may have played better than expected. The fact was Male only scored 17 on us..and we didn't score at all. I still think we could have won if we were heathly. The fact is we weren't and lost.

How is your stance any different than AT's? "We shoulda won if we were healthy" and "We would have won by more if not for dropped passes" sound equally like "woulda, coulda, shoulda," except one sounds more like an excuse than the other...

Trinity is at another level of football, but for Meade to be in this position and to make it into the finals last year speaks volume. I still pick the Rocks to win, but will not be surprise either if the Meade gets the upset.

Male kicked our butt no 2 ways about it. Male had 350 or so yards of offense. We had 77 yards and 3 1st downs. Male ran 90 plays to our 30. Male definately left points on the field numerous times. At the same time it's pretty impressive that our Defense held Male to 17 points on 90 plays with zero help from the offense and no rest. Now our offense was beat up health wise and just hadn't started clicking yet. Our offense is healthier and playing much better now. How much better I don't know we'll see Friday.

You guys didn't score a single point against Male, we put up 30+ on them both games, not sure where all this confidence is coming from... lol

 

Good thing they aren't playing Male, huh? I would expect Meade County to have confidence....current state runner-up, and have beaten 3 very solid teams to win Region 2 (two on the road).
