I believe the 79 yards was meant to be passing yards. He did throw 2 TDs that game.

Justafan#85 has proven in this thread and others that he is consistently clueless on multiple issues.

 

I must say that after going to the Henry Clay at Meade County game several weeks ago and sitting on the Meade County home side, Justafan#85 is not a typical Meade County fan. I got to talk to quite a few that night and they were humble, friendly, and very knowledgable about their Green Wave and football in general.

 

Quite the contrast between the folks I spoke to at the game that night and Justafan#85.

 

I'm a Meade County graduate (2004)....Still live in Meade...But was born and raised in Louisville...So I got love for the city of Brandenburg and Louisville....I will say I don't have any hatred towards any fan of any team...I used to work with a boy at Multicorr in Louisville that played football for Trinity...And he was a great friend...I enjoy talking to the fans of the other teams at the games...There are some of us that are good people...All in all....No ill-will towards Trinity...Hope it's a clean game from both sides...No injuries....And...........GO 'WAVES!

I agree, Not all of Meade is like that. I am just Thankful for our success . a lot of Meade Alumni paved the way and carved the tradition. This program is very special to a lot of people and it got that way with hard work... Not words spewed carelessly. That trash talk stuff is not the way we do things, All Meade Countians stay humble remember what we have accomplished but never forget where we came from neither. Act like we've been here before!

I have seen, first hand, the challenge of playing Trinity in the post season.

 

Henry Clay faced Trinity in the state semi-finals in 2005, 2006, and 2007. Two of the games were played at Trinity's Marshall Stadium and the 2006 game was played at Henry Clay. In each game, I felt Henry Clay had a serious chance to beat the Rocks. Trinity won each of these games by scores of

41-20, 56-35, and 50-14. The Blue Devils might have had more talent in each of these games (debatable, but I thought so), but there is something about the psychology of playing Trinity. The Devils did not have the answer to Trinity's sophisticated offense.

 

I think Meade County will find out about what I am saying this evening. The Green Wave did make the state finals last year and that experience will serve them well. However, their road to Bowling Green did NOT include having to play the Rocks.

 

Trinity has prepared for their quest at another state title by playing a very difficult schedule. They have played a handful of perennial powerhouses and have been very competitive in those games. To Meade County's credit, they did schedule Louisville Male in an attempt to prepare for the type team they will need to defeat to win a state championship. However, the rest of their schedule in no way gives them the look they will see tonight versus Trinity.

 

I think the Green Wave will bow their backs and play with a lot of courage and heart, but the Trinity "system" will give them a look they have never seen. The offense is not balanced enough to put the necessary pressure on the Rock defense. I am certain that Trinity knows how to stop the Wing-T. My prediction:

 

Trinity 42 Meade County 7

I certainly understand the weight of playing a team like Trinity (my football career ended against x in 07') however, I think this score prediction is quite a bit inflated. If Trinity does win this game, it will certainly not be by 35 points.
