  1. Should be a great tournament! I'll be rooting for my Greenwave, but all roads lead through the 9th District. If someone other than Apollo/Daviess is going to win it they are going to have to beat them both in my opinion. I think it is the best pitching depth in the region in quite a while - Hundley, Lyons, Hayden, Burton, Currie, Lewis, McBride, Mills, Griffin, Skaggs, Turner, Hicks, Durbin, and I'm sure Muhlenburg has someone as well I just don't know much about them.
  2. Just wanted to make a correction to Lunsfords post. If your gonna post get the score right and the facts. Griffin was knocked out of the game in the 4th inning, there were some errors made, but the 4 hits and 6 BBs that he had given up were the problem.
  3. I believe the 79 yards was meant to be passing yards. He did throw 2 TDs that game.
  4. Very well put Hilltopper. This is my first post to BGP and as I continued to read the post of my fellow fans it prompted me to sign up. Friday night will be a tremendous challenge for our boys and I believe they are excited to measure themselves against the state's best program. I expect a great night of high school football and even though the banter on here is fun the boys of both teams just want to play football. They will mix it up for 4 quarters and no matter what the result will shake hands afterwards. It's two quality programs lead by class Head Coaches and that's what Friday night lights is all about!
