Yes, Trinity's TOTAL defense IS porous. Their run D appears to be very good, but how many of those teams were run-first? The jury's still out on that one. Most of the damage to this defense has been passing -- thus total D = porous. See another thread for a small-but-created-with-actual-numbers analysis.
I sure hope you are around Friday night.....you are running it quite a bit...and in reality, you have no idea about our defense.

First of all Trinity alum, we have a very nice facility...One of the nicest in the area. Our county does an excellent job funding our sports programs. As far as "Tradition" raising money we raise plenty. So don't put your foot in your mouth about no tradition ..you don't have a clue what our tradition is. So are you saying parents raised the money to build your staduim. I think not...Churches get lots of tax breaks (as in tax exempt) from the government. So in a way our tax $$ are paying for your nice staduim. Just like your tax $$ help pay for public schools.

The diocese did not fund it in any way. It was funded through donations.

Yes it does. He is one of the reasons that the older crowd dislikes privates so much. It was feed into the program by the man who started it. I wish we had your resources and facilities but we don't. I am not going to cry and say it's unfair cause it's not... The rules are what they are. I would honestly hate to see private and public separate. I love the challenge of knocking the big boys off their throne.

Explain how the rules of the KHSAA are different for each school. Both programs follow the same rules per the KHSAA. If the MC board of education wants to not allow students from out of district then that is their problem.

Never said they were. I'm all for keeping the public and private playing each other.

On a more serious note...ticket information for the game is located on a seperate thread.

We don't have a church...

Cmon man...what do you think the Diocese is. LOL

From the Meade County Football Boosters:

At the end of the day, both are great programs with great coaches, players and fans. It should be a great game. After we all get done blowing a bunch of hot air on this site, I hope everyone traveling to Meade from Trinity has a safe trip to and from louisvillle. We should all remember at the game to respect one another and enjoy a hopefully injury free game...its really about the kids straping on the cleats and pads.

Trinity, while Catholic, is not financially tied to or supported by the Archdiocese.

All I have to say is we have shocked X in the playoffs before why not T? It's not the size of the dog in the fight but rather how much fight is in the dog.

I recall speaking with Coach Glaser the morning after their loss to Meade County. I knew him fairly well and asked him if he expected to receive much grief from the St X faithful. That was when he told me the St Xavier folks loved him so much, they would build a statue of him after he was finished coaching.

Glory days. Back to current day, I believe your QB is also your safety. I understand many of the Meade County starters play both ways. This will make things very difficult in the fourth quarter for the Greenwave.

Yes we have a few that go both ways...most do not. why would it effect him now..he has been playing that way for the last 13 games.

We tend to "work" a secondary more so, than others.

I see that on HUDL...but it won't effect him
