November 16, 201411 yr Author #1 MSU drops a close one at Alabama. Tide should leapfrog the Bulldogs, but where will each team be?
November 16, 201411 yr IMO Mississippi State drops out of the 4 unless FSU loses. My bet is Bama goes all the way to 1, followed by Oregon, FSU, and TCU. I guess I could see MSU above TCU in light of the Kansas scare.
November 16, 201411 yr Depends if FSU wins tonight. If FSU wins, top 4 are FSU, Oregon, Bama and TCU. If FSU loses, Miss St still in top 4 IMO. OSU is really rooting hard for Auburn and Ole Miss to beat Bama and Miss. St. now. Would have been nice for OSU if TCU would have lost but they held on.
November 16, 201411 yr I think it will be... If Florida St Wins 1 Florida St 2 Oregon 3 Alabama 4 Miss St...could be TCU If Florida St loses a close game... 1 Oregon...committee seems to love them 2 Alabama 3 Miss St 4 FSU If Florida St loses big... 1 Oregon 2 Alabama 3 Miss St 4 TCU IMO if Florida State loses tonight they may need some help to get back in the top 4, even though I think they are easily better than TCU
November 16, 201411 yr If FSU wins 1) FSU 2) Alabama 3) Oregon 4) MSU If FSU loses 1) Alabama 2) Oregon 3) MSU 4) Baylor
November 16, 201411 yr Ohio St lingering just outside top 5 at this point...still need some help. Need 3 of these to lose for OSU to get in IMO... Bama, Miss St, TCU, Baylor, Arizona St...could add FSU to that list if they lose tonight. OSU has a better SOS than Baylor and IMO a better win. I think after this week's struggle with Kansas...TCU could drop out of top 4
November 16, 201411 yr They will drop to 5 I am guessing and noway should they be that high. Just my thoughts.
November 16, 201411 yr With only 4 teams, the "playoff" is a joke. You could make a case for 8-10 teams that should get in. The NCAA must like controversy, that's all there will be with only four teams invited. That said, I expect miss state will drop to around 6-7, Alabama may gain a spot or two. In my opinion both are top 5 teams though.
November 16, 201411 yr If TCU stays in the top 4 after struggling to beat Kansas while Miss St. drops out after a tough, close game on the road against Alabama, then this system is broken, IMO.
