I have insider info. I'm close to the program. But aren't we all as fans. My info is that deep down inside I truly believe HHS will win. But secretly, I've always loved Cov Cath's uniforms. Always sharp for all sports. I respect no other foe as much I have the Blue Colonels on Dixie Hwy. What kills me is that they are great at everything and it was so much fun to celebrate the things we could beat them at since it seems there weren't many things we could. So don't hate us for celebrating our football success, as you all pretty much run the table on every other sport. Respect!

Consider me jealous. There is no better place to watch a game than South Bend. Glad Austin was able to play again this past weekend and will be able to run through the tunnel one more time with his Gold helmet shining in the sun. After the Michigan game last season I thought he was on his way to being a star safety but unfortunately he has not been able to shake the injury bug. Very sorry that he had to endure so much over his time but I'm sure he would not change his time with ND for anything. He was a warrior at Highlands and his ability to remain positive throughout shows the sign of great character. Safe travels Oldtime.

Back on point, there is nothing wrong with respecting a foe. There are a lot that I don't respect. Like poor sports such as that team I won't mention that took the head shot on a defenseless Michael Waite. You know who you are. Those are the teams I will never respect. How can you not respect the passion, the pageantry, and the crazies that will paint their bodies and go shirtless Friday while screaming silly things that, at the right time, enrage people. I absolutely respect their enthusiasm. But I want to win by 50. The close ones make my chest hurt.

This pic taken yesterday as crews cleared the field of snow so the team could practice. Later parents and other adults shoveled the stadium in preparation of Round 2 on Friday at DCM...

 

Guy in the Orange Buggy is BGP one and only Thunderbirds trying out his new toy...and the guy on the tractor is one and only Dale...

 

Spectators watched as these two plowed the field, TBirds used the straight line up and back approached as Dale was all over the place driving in circles at times and making one only to guess what his next move would be:lol2:

 

At times you could hear a voice heard mumbling the phrases..."this tractor is sooooooo sloooow!!!!" and "I would shovel this field by hand just for a chance to Beat CovCath!!!!"
