It will be for me. Parka, boots, mittens and blankets. I get more miserable every year when it turns cold.

As much as I badly want the Colonels to pull off the upset, I just don't see it happening tonight. Highlands is just ... better. Better coached, better disciplined, better gameplanning and, more than anything, they were just owned by Beau Hoge in the first matchup. I don't see that changing. My heart is hoping for the upset of upsets...my head is telling me...sigh...same ole, same ole.

I agree with what you said except the being a CCH fan and the final score. A lot of HHS posters on here are too afraid to say this, I think they really think it will give CCH extra incentive in the game which is a load of you know what. Highlands will score 35 plus and CCH 14-21. What is going to change in this go around to allow CCH to hold them under 35?

Always a good environment for football at Highlands. (Except for the outcome every year since 2016.)

 

Expect nothing less this year. Colonels need to keep their composure, play their game. Keep the HHS receivers in front of them and we have a ball game. With a little luck, and a lot of disciplined football, CCH wins.

What's changed is x amount of weeks to think about what an embarrassing performance the first game was for players, coaches, and the entire community. No way - NO WAY - they come out as frazzed, undisciplined, and sheepish this time around. Also, the stakes have changed and there are a ton of kids that will NEVER play football again if they lose this game. Factors like this generally close wide gaps like we saw a few weeks back.

True, how many times have we seen the rematch be a completely different game? Look no further than Pikeville last week and their 68 point turnaround from their first matchup.
