Seems like the forecast is an awfully long way out, things usually track to the extreme north or south when there is a threat this far out. By the time Sunday night rolls around this could be in Columbus,Ohio or Knoxville,Tenn. I talked to a friend in Bowling Green that told me they were to be in the 50's for Sunday and Monday with rain I wouldn't post anything about it if I didn't think it was a legitimate threat. I make no outlooks or predictions to help any store or make a profit for them. I do it to help people. If people want to rush to the store to buy things that is their business. I have children who are raising their families in Bowling Green so I watch that area very closely. I actually watch it closer than any other area. Besides you can't point to one post where I even included Bowling Green in any snowfall total.
November 15, 201411 yr nWo, does it appear that eastern Kentucky will be missing out on the snow? I sure hope so, lol. We'll probably have enough snow anyway before winter is finished. This winter weather is starting early, just like last year.

I heard nothing about this past Thursday, but temps stayed in the 20's, cloudy and we had a decent snow squall when went home from work that day here in Northern Kentucky, but that day was supposed to be sunny,etc. The groceries stores have been so busy the past few days for this forecast, hence the Kroger/Walmart comment

November 15, 201411 yr The last GFS run shows a pretty good amount of snow... The Hi-Res version shows some really far-fetched amounts. Either of those have any validity yet,NWO?
November 15, 201411 yr The latest run really has changed. Now most of Kentucky is looking at some snow. The snow accumulation totals have increased. Has I mentioned earlier Central Kentucky is really in the bulls eye. Centered around Lexington, that area is now looking at 2-4" maybe even more. I'm staying with the 1-3" for the other areas I mentioned. I now add Ashland, Hunting, WV area. Southeast Kentucky now is looking at a dusting to 1". I'm growing in concern for WKY. The latest run is the first time I saw any indication of freezing rain or ice. As of now .001" but we need to keep a close eye on the situation I could have predicted that without looking at data...Somerset rarely get's much more than a dusting. It's like we are under a weather dome...snow just seems to go around us most of the time. London to the East, Stanford to the North and Columbia to the West will get hit hard with snow and we'll get an inch or so...

Based on this information here are my new call for snow accumulation. on a line from around Madisonville northeastward to along the Ohio River through Cincinnati 4-6" Cities Included are: 4-6" Owensboro Louisville Jeffersonville Ft Knox Williamstown Falmouth Cincinnati 2-4" Murray Paducah Madisonville Hopkinsville Elizabethtown Nicholasville Frankfort Lexington Paris Flemingsburg Maysville 1-2" Fort Campbell Russellville Bowling Green Campbellsville Berea Richmond Winchester Stanton Mt. Sterling Morehead Ashland Most of Southeast Kentucky is looking at a dusting to around 1" Areas along the I-75 Corridor from the Tennessee state line to around Richmond have a small chance to see some freezing rain or sleet. This area is bordered on the west by Columbia and goes to the northeast to around Somerset and Mt. Vernon. I'll post updates in the morning.

November 15, 201411 yr Author Nwo. Thx....when do you anticipate it startng in Cincy area. it should be late night Sunday or early in the morning on Monday. The Monday morning commute looks to be a rough one.
