I think in this situation, a lot of people are sick of Jim Matney beating his "mountain schools get no respect" drum, all while running up scores time and time again, trading blank film DVD's with other teams, and having his players run the ball backwards so his star kicker can have enough attempts to finally break a state record. I root for mountain teams more often than not when it comes to football....and it's almost always Jim Matney's Johnson Central filling the role of "not" for me.

I'm curious, when did that happen? If it did, very shameful. I know that most schools used to trade film, whether VHS or DVD, on Saturday's. Now, almost all schools in the state of KY use HUDL to trade and there is no way that it can be blank. Just curious, coming from an old football guy.

If I remember right it happen to CovCath a few years ago.

I was filling in on chains a few years ago against one of JC district teams and their coachs mentioned that it was common for the JC coach to do it

He sent blanks to Cov Cath in both 2009 and 2010. I can attest to that first hand. I've never heard anything definitive regarding the whens and where's Matney had done that elsewhere, but I have heard Cov Cath was not the first or last team he did that to. I would assume HUDL has now essentially removed that trick from the book.

Yes, they do. And, it seems that schools that will not trade "quality" film always have opponents that are more then willing to give their opponents their film. Funny how that works.
