Alphabet blocks, ball, bicycle, bubbles, Candyland, checkers, chess, Crayolas, dominoes, Duncan yoyo, Erector set, Etch-a-Sketch, Frisbee, Life, hula hoop (I stunk at it), jack in the box, jacks, jigsaw puzzle, Lincoln Logs, Monopoly, marbles, play doh, playing cards, Scrabble, silly putty, skateboard, Slinky, stick, tinkertoys, tonka trucks, view master.
November 7, 201411 yr 100% of those pre 1967. I even had to play with my sister and her stinkin baby dolls and easy bake oven as we often didn't have any other kids to play with. On the plus side I taught her that a stick (on the list) and garbage can lid (should be on the list) made for some great battles.

I am now blessed to have the Magic 8 Ball for making important life decisions, and a Magic Excuse Ball that I consult prior to meetings where I may (or may not) have been responsible for providing some info. They serve me well.
November 7, 201411 yr Really?? A stick, blanket, and cardboard box are in the Toy Hall of Fame? Absolutely...Cardboard boxes were empty canvases that could become anything. Sticks were guns, bats, bat-a-rangs pretty much anything. Blankets and couch cushions could make awesome tent/forts on rainy days.
