Browns at Bengals TNF

Featured Replies

Division games you just never know e.g. Rams/49ers. With all things going normal Bengals should win by 7-10. But things are never normal. Who knows, I do favor home teams in these games, generally.

I do believe if the Bengals get up by 2-3 TD's early they need to keep the petal to the metal. The Brownies have overcome a lot of huge deficits this season.

I'd argue this is the biggest game of the season so far for both.

I agree but it's a bigger game for Cincinnati. They can't afford to lose this game but they've stunk it up so many times in prime time.

Yeah I was kind of hoping the browns would be out of the race before he came back. The bengals at worst need to at least split their games with the browns and steelers. If the bengals do that then the bengals own all tiebreakers in the divison because they would have the best divison record at 4 and 2. So I hope the bengals can sweep the divison but they need to at least split their remaining division games.

Due to the "tie" the Bengals have the tiebreaker of best division record won't come into play unless another divison team gets a tie. The division tiebreaker comes into play if both teams have the same overall record. The Browns have not played well since Mack went out. If they had Mack and Gordon then they would be a serious threat to win the division.

But, the Bengals will win this one by double digits.

Bengals wearing Black jerseys. Bengals 2-3 on Thursday night games.

They usually always wear black jerseys at home besides the two home games where they wear orange. The real question is if they are wearing black pants with the black jerseys.

This is a TNF game that I'm really excited to watch. Some them, not so much. The schedulers have to be pretty tickled with the implication of this game that historically would be a snoozer.

Yes, they are wearing the black jerseys and black pants tomorrow.

This year, every prime-time game has been a BLOWOUT. With the way Night-game prime-time match-ups have gone, it fits this game could be a blowout as well. So, I look at which teams has the best advantage in winning by a blowout. The Bengals have averaged over 32 points per game in their undefeated home streak. I could easily see this game turning into a 20+ win for the Bengals!

I'll be there, so I for one and hoping for a blowout by the Bengals.

....

By the way, for those that care about such things, I'm now fully invested in Cleveland getting 6.5.

Why anyone would ever attempt to invest on a Bengals game is perplexing. I guess it is no more random than playing a slot machine.

When they have so consistently under-achieved at night, I feel like the trend is pretty solid. I also think the Browns are a paper tiger (no pun intended vs the Bengal Tigers), but I just don't see the Bengals playing well enough to pull away and separate.

Plus, the good news is, if the Bengals hammer them I lose, but am genuinely happy, so I'm okay either way.

Usually the method I have when filling out my bracket (except in 2012, went ahead and put UK winning that year).

I think this one is going to be low scoring, lots of field goals. 19 to 13 Bengals.
