Or on a doorknob and you open the door and then bite your fingernail or scratch your lip, then WHOLAA, you got Ebola.

Point is most on here were saying its too hard to catch, etc. Apparently not.

That's real Kentucky for voila, in case any of you were wondering.
Despite all of the hysteria, let's look at what has happened. The number of people infected in the US from someone walking around with Ebola - ZERO. The number of people who have died from catching Ebola in the US - Zero. The number of people that have caught Ebola in the US - TWO. Both caught it while treating an Ebola patient. Both have now recovered. I saw the head of Doctors without borders on the news yesterday. The number of health care workers in West Africa that have caught Ebola in West Africa is 23. Of those, twenty were locals that are believed to have caught it from sources other than their patients. The response in the US has been very good.
Hell freezes over. We find ourselves in agreement. :lol2:

Flu has around a .75% Mortality Rate

Ebola has a 50% Mortality Rate!

Hey Chicken Little, 53,000 people in the U.S. died from the flu last year. Wash your hands and stay out of West Africa.

He's ignored that point several times throughout his many posts about Ebola. He will ignore it this time also.

In Africa...

In this country?

17% of deaths in children under 5 die of pneumonia in Africa. It's a little different.

Andy Griffith died.

I hate you.

"lawildcat and mcpapa like this."

And you, too.

In Africa...

Depending on strain its well more than 50%.

It is a very, very high risk issue.

What is the % for those in the US?

Again, in Africa.

And life has a rate of 100%

;)

Obama just seemed to announce the wholesale importing of Ebola patents.

And life has a rate of 100%

So does death.
