You see you're ill informed again because I see way more Simon Kenton, Highlands, CCH and Mayfield fans here than Boyle. I mean have you looked at that list of topics? The words Simon Kenton, Pioneers and The Bluebirds are almost in every topic.

Attaboy, just ignore the fact that Highlands is moving to 5a and your statement is false. Oh, and i'm not a Boyle fan in the sense you are meaning it. I don't live there and they are not my favorite team.

Boyle tried to run from Highlands when Highlands was put in 4A. Then they tried to fix it by scheduling Highlands. After Highlands beat the crap out of them twice Boyle decided not to renew the series with Highlands after verbally agreeing to do so and that left Highlands scrambling for a replacement game.

 

Boyle has ran from Highlands and if Highlands was put in 3A with Boyle then Boyle would have petitioned to stay in 4A. Boyle is better at running from Highlands than beating them.

Boyle could have appealed to stay in 4A. They couldn't get away from highlands fast enough.

Boyle was looking for a game and Highlands was open. You sign a two year deal and then can renew if you both agree. Boyle did not get out of a contract it just ended.

Starks when was the last time Mercer played Highlands? at least Boyle has had the kahunas to play 'em 6 times in the last 10 years or so. IMO the Mercer fans need to get over their jealousy of the Boyle program and get on with their lives.

I don't know if we have ever played Highlands. You don't see us on here bragging about a state championship victory over them that happened when I was in preschool. You may have had the kahunas to schedule them 4 times in 10 years you also had the kahunas to not renew the contract after verbally agreeing to do so. The arrogance of Boyle fans is just too much. You guys act like you invented football and that Chuck Smith is the greatest coach over for turning you all into winners. You begging for our head coach to become your OC is just one example of the arrogance that clouds your beloved program. There is no arguing that Boyle is a better program than Mercer and that Boyle is more successful than Mercer. Don't bring attitude and not expect any in return. Therein might be the problem. If you were in pre-school in 2003, then you are still in High School.

 

Just pointing that out. Boyle's program was solid in many spots prior to Chuck Smith. It just rose to a new plateau with him and later proved itself again under French. :thumb:
