October 23, 201411 yr Highlights: The locker room is split on the Harvin trade, Russell Wilson is too close to the front office, and Russell Wilson isn't black enough. Crazy for a team that was winning a Super Bowl eight months ago and seemed to have it all together. Mike Freeman's 10-Point Stance: Another WR Learns Not to Disrespect the QB | Bleacher Report
October 23, 201411 yr 3 and 3 tells you everything you need to know. However, I expect the Seahawks to go on a run.
October 23, 201411 yr I don't care what color Russell Wilson is, he's cool as the other side of the pillow and they'll be fine.
October 23, 201411 yr Did I read that correctly? Did I see that Wilson is NOT BLACK ENOUGH! It is 2014, that just is a disgusting assessment and I honestly hope that my African American friends will completely blow that comment up.
October 23, 201411 yr Surprising for so many issues to have come up so quickly after the super bowl. Would have figured there would be a longer honeymoon period.

If that's correct, then the opposite must be true, and there has to be someone that's too black. Just a stupid comment.

Same situation that happened in Miami with members of the team saying the same thing about Jonathan Martin. PP92 and other African Americans can expand upon this, but some idiots think they can define what it means to be black and that you should conduct yourself a certain way. I have not heard First Take today, but Stephen A. was enraged over the Dolphin's situation.
October 23, 201411 yr Chicken/egg thing. To me the W/L causes the issues - not the issues cause the record.
October 23, 201411 yr Author Chicken/egg thing. To me the W/L causes the issues - not the issues cause the record. Somewhat. Winning MASKS a lot of things but Harvin was punching people in the face as they were winning the Super Bowl. I don't think this split in support of Wilson has happened in the last two weeks.
October 23, 201411 yr Author Heard another report today talking about this story and it was brought up that Wilson's "entourage" does not have any black guys in it, thus, at least partially, leading to the perception that he is not "black enough".
October 23, 201411 yr ^ There is such a thing as a "White Entourage". Hmm, I wonder who is in Peyton and Brady's....
