October 19, 201411 yr I didnt watch the game but looking at the offensive numbers it's no wonder Dalton didn't throw any picks. It's hard to throw an interception when you don't even throw the ball far enough to reach a DB. 3 yard avg or 4 yard avg per catch by Gresham is a joke. Sorry but we need a QB who can throw the ball at least 10 yds down field even with a bad line.

It wouldnt have mattered who was at qb, it seriously was that quick with how fast they were on him. Dalton has one of the quickest releases in the nfl and that didnt matter today. Also you cant throw down field when receivers are not open and cant get seperation. Not to mention bengal receivers had 6 drops. It wouldnt have mattered who the qb was today, it was just flat out bad.
October 19, 201411 yr What I dont get is the play calling. Yes the colts stacked the box and played tight man on the receivers. However it was obvious early on that our receivers werent getting any speration. So would have been better off putting Hill in and just try their luck with pounding it.

October 19, 201411 yr Gios gonna be in the ice bath a couple of days. Seemed like Dalton wasn't recognizing where defenders were in relation to the guys he was throwing to. He got Gresham pretty lit up at the goal line too.

Dalton actually impressed me today with his pocket presence because he took a beating and kept coming back for more. He can't throw it when no one was open (and they were not open). He did not force anything and his line was flat out bad today. Gresham just does not have any speed to get any yards after the catch. Colts keyed on Sanu and no other WR could get open.

October 20, 201411 yr Today's game was the biggest waste of 3 hrs I have ever spent. The Defense was a sieve giving up over 500 yrds and unable to get off the field. I don't think I have ever seen a Time of Possession differential like today. The Colts had the ball for 39 min and the Bengals maybe 21..so almost double the Bengals. On the bright side Huber had some booming punts LOL Andre Smith was getting worked the entire afternoon and the Colts were stunting the ears off the offensive line today. They had no answer to what the defense was doing. Too many injuries at this point and Dalton is not good enough to elevate his performance and carry this team during this time. The Bengals have a ton of road games to end the season....They are DONE! Time for some UK Hoops !!

The bengals have done better when people have said they are done or cant make the playoffs over the last few years. So hopefully this talk ends up the same and the bengals prove people wrong who give up on them quickly. They have played horrible recently. However they have three straight home games and especially if they can find away to beat the ravens next week, then they are right back in a good situation.
