October 17, 201412 yr 6yrs ago, how about last few yrs. Its still funny. I'm not even a Bengals fan and I know that isn't that funny or true. The Bengals are now one of the best behaved organizations in football.
October 17, 201412 yr On a side note, and I mentioned this in another thread, shoplifting and domestic violence are pretty much equal crimes with equal punishments in the eyes of the criminal justice system. If the NFL doesn't punish Randle similar to the players charged with domestic violence they have a major problem moving forward. In short, the NFL doesn't belong in the punishment business. It will never be consistent.

October 17, 201412 yr The father of Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle told WFAA his son is innocent after being arrested Monday evening for shoplifting a cologne bottle and a pack of underwear at the Dillard’s at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco. "My son is not a thief, okay? He was just trying to get his baby out of there because she was clowning pretty bad. All he was going to do is take the baby out and then he was going to come back and take care of his business," Mr. Randle told WFAA. His father, who declined to give his first name, told WFAA that his son is a Christian boy who had his child and her mother with him at the time. "He said they wouldn't come and wait on me so I wanted to get them outside the door so she could try to calm her down and then come back. It's as simple as that," his father said. Randle's child was not mentioned in the police report And so the folks who work at Dillard's are supposed to know this how? Last time I was in Dillard's no one came over "to wait on me" like the old days. I had to take my items for purchase to a cashier. Next time I go to Macy's and I'm looking at a purchase and I want to get my nagging wife out of the Mall, I'm going to walk out with the stuff to get her to the car and see how far I get. And then when they are handcuffing me, I'm going to tell them I was going to bring the stuff back in to pay for it.

November 2, 201411 yr Dallas Cowboys' Jason Garrett talks with Dez Bryant, Joseph Randle about disagreement - ESPN Dallas Backup RB's in the NFL (aka: a dime a dozen) should not (1) be stealing stuff, (2) be joking about it and (3) be bickering with two complete studs on the team who are not a dime a dozen (Dez and Witten). I would not be surprised if the 'Boys decide that this knucklehead is not worth it...

November 2, 201411 yr My other thought...do celebrities/athletes sometimes "steal" because they don't want to deal with the recognition when they pay with credit card/bank card? If he outright purchases it----then storeclerk tweets that she sold panties and foo foo juice to said NFL player. Not condoning it, just trying to determine motive.
