Who do you think wins and why?

My 2 favorite teams not sure who I will pick. This will be a tough one for me to watch.

Well with all apologies to Lou Holtz, I like the chances for the home team.

 

Then again, Lou does point out that he'd rather be the road team in a game like this (!) and that Golson is unbeaten during the regular season as a starter (good thing FSU doesn't have a QB like that), so look out!

More points could be scored. Not a lick of defense will be played all night. The only time the offense doesn't score will be on missed FGsor turnover on downs.

This is just one of those gut feelings, but I like ND in this game.

ND's defense has been pretty consistent this year. If they can take care of the ball they can win this one. I'll say..

Better athletes? So you have analyzed both rosters and come to this conclusion? These ND teams BK is rolling out there are not the Weiss era teams everyone is used to. Just saying guys like Jaylon Smith, Will Fuller, Golson... The list goes on.

Haven't been particularly impressed with Notre Dame (Haven't been particularly impressed by FSU either, but we'll start here.). Best win is against a Stanford team that doesn't have a passing game and could easily lose three more games this year. Had their swiss cheese defense out against UNC.

 

Playing at home gives a big edge to FSU. The Seminole defense won't stop ND very well but neither will the Irish defense stop FSU.

 

Lots of points and FSU pulls away in the final quarter.
