The 10th annouces there all 10th team on March 21 at the Banquet.

Big advantage to have the tournament on your home court every year. 3 points is a big deal when one team has to travel for nearly 2 hours while the other can rest and run over to the gym 20 minutes before the game.

 

This needs to be changed. Too many arguments about parking, seating, and money. Someone needs to consider the kids after a while.

Well we all learned from 1969 that GRC couldn't host the tournament and seat everyone who wanted to come out to the game and that is why its at the Fieldhouse.

 

The best team wins the game on any given night, doesn't mean they are the best team the whole season, but on given nights, the best team wins. Mason was the better team down the stretch tonight, when you don't hit the free tosses, you generally get beat and GRC didn't hit them.

 

I thought the 1-3-1 Mason zone was a big key, and the defense on Jones in the 4th limited his easy looks, plus Miller shadowed Knowles a lot better as a matchup than what Scott could do in the first half. Great game, great atmosphere, congrats to the Royals and the young team. The KHSAA staff has to be happy when Mason represents at Rupp!

 

Professor, there wasn't much said about home court when GRC came to Maysville last month and put it on Mason pretty good at the Fieldhouse. I agree with another poster, those grapes are pretty sour:sssh:

 

Knowles and Jones are special, and what an experience Mason County's young team is going to have representing at Rupp. Russ and Darius are unbelievale talents and so young. Micah Turner, the only senior is rewarded with a trip to Rupp! The future is so bright at Mason.

Can you blame those ppl? And it somewhat surprises me that CLo got to come to this one... He and the Vols seem to have some issues to solve lately going into a pretty big stretch of games...
