I was just going to type this, but I was going to add the very large amount of money that he has spent, along with the PAC's.

 

I think one thing is as we get closer the election people are realizing his "a vote for her is a vote for Obama" isn't what they want to hear as they know he isn't running. He never talks on what he will do, or why you should vote for him. Plus, as I posted yesterday, republicans I know , including tea party members, mostly say they are going to vote against Mitch, then spend the next 5 years grooming a candidate to run against Alison in 6 years, but they leave it open on who they will vote for in 6 years, depending on how she does.

As far as the thread title. There is nothing there, no real organization is running with it, I don't even think that McConnell's camp is running with it. None of the people who supposably said these things have any close ties to Alison. It's all "I think" and not "she told me".

 

Let's say my friend from Fort Thomas (that's you RTS). let's say he is running for something. And I tell people he will do this or he will do that, and I am helping with his campaign. Now, did I say he told me that he will do this or that! Or did I just say (IMO) he will do this or that? Plus, if he would be lying to get votes, why in the world would he tell anyone? I don't think he would even tell his family.

There are also moles on both sides, not really people working for the campaigns themselves. We had one last night in Newport, a "tracker", that are arrogant little, well never mind. And the fake CNN grew, driving an SUV, KY plates, and it wasn't a rental, lol. Not to mention young people asking anyone and everyone with an Alison volunteer shirt very odd questions, as they attempt to hide their phone as they record anything they can get, lol amateurs.

 

BTW RTS, you should run for something, and to keep it interesting have Mnt Ref as your running mate.

Well, I'm interested in at least volunteering. IMO, the county level or below is where I would want to be if I ever ran. I would feel like I am actually doing something and close to the people that will hold me accountable.

This is not an angle the Grimes campaign should go on being as tight lipped as she has been on the issues. That would come back in her face quickly.

This part does not make much sense. Mitch is 72 years old and many close to him have mentioned that this will almost certainly be his last term if he wins. So if Tea Partiers want one of their own to succeed him, it would see to be a lot easier without having to brawl with a Democratic incumbent.
