Ah yes!! I have said it before. Central has Grown MEN! WC has never been lacking athletes... What they have lacked is execution and discipline in terms of on the field play. That is where BG has always beaten them in the past IMO.

Your lack of respect for the players at BGHS cast a huge cloud over your ability to either judge talent or to give any unbiased opinion on the Purples (or South Warren). A high school football game is not played using a Rivals or Scout recruiting ranking as a basis for the score. I am sure those smaller, slower, less talented Purples will somehow show up on Friday and try to move their record against Warren Co schools to 89-13. That does leave your Spartans with the best record in the county against the Purples, 0-0, a mark that I am sure will stand for years to come.

Doubletake made me take a Doubletake at his post. No one is arguing the fact that Dragons has some athletes but to say they have more than BG is not a true statement. First, BG probably has twice the amount of players and second BG has probably twice the amount of athletes just in the skill positions alone.

DT, I am glad you are on this site as you shake things up and that's good, but this is a classic example of being just flat out wrong. "twice as many athletes as BG" Come on. I know WC has always had athletes (Damon Hood and Chris Potter come to mind as some really good ones) and they have some good ones now. Feggins, Shanklin and their star linebacker are all excellent players and athletes and I know I am leaving several out but to say twice as many as BG isn't true or close to being true.

 

You do realize you're the Eddie Haskel :bag: in this situation - giving your opinion and not being taken seriously. You really let your jealousy for BG hurt you true passion to push South Warren up to a State Championship level; as when you put posts up like this; no one can take you seriously.

I'm both excited for the game and ready for it to be over. I was high with anticipation for it 2010-2012. I dreaded it last year. I don't fully know what to think this year but I think this year will be another where they meet twice, so again, just ready to be past this one as a fan.

He won't take it to heart. He sat there in Fort Thomas unemployed for a year watching his son play for Highlands but he didn't understand what he was looking at. He didn't soak in WHY they win. Same for BG, Feggins doesn't understand WHY the purples win. His quotes you are referring to show that.

I agree he did go over the top with several of his comments, but what do you expect from a new coach? Him to come in and say he's there to finish behind BG every year? I'm sure that would get everyone fired up.

You think it's bad from the BG folks on here? Wait till the Higlands folks turn their attention away from the Elder's and Cov. Cath's of this year and dial their sights in on how they shouldn't be able to win with "those kind" of players...brother, this is just the warm up...
