Teddy Bridgewater Is Now The Vikings' Starting QB

Featured Replies

Matt Cassel's season is over with multiple broken bones in his foot.

I'm surprised I didn't see this one on here yet (Getslow).

Hate to have him thrown in so soon but will have to start looking for their games.

I think he will be solid. I feel like he has the chance to be a franchise QB. Not elite but franchise. We shall see though. I'm rooting for him.

I feel like him and Bortles both went in a bit earlier than expected. Both of them would have benefitted from sitting a year but both their teams needed an upgrade at QB, and both of them should be solid this year.

I immediately picked up the Falcons DST today.

It would require me to keep up with NFL news... which I'm not. The Adrian Peterson drama has really soured me on the whole season and not even Bridgewater's too-soon ascent has pulled me out of the funk.

Hopefully the Vikings can keep it close on Sunday (not happening).

We were supposed to get the Eagles/49ers game here in Louisville in the late slot on Sunday and word is that WDRB's programming folks called the national office directly and told them to put the Minnesota game on in this area.

I tried to on waivers but lots of others had the same idea. I would have done it even with Cassell starting.

My regular team is on BYE this week so I had to have one. I got lucky and Atlanta was still available. Their defense hasn't been good this season so it's still a roll of the dice. Worth a chance though.

I think you could do a lot worse. Rookie QB in his first start. No AP.

Don't be so confident......Teddy is one of the best reactionary players that I have ever seen. He can compromise, on the fly, as good as anyone in the game.

I'm not confident. I'm just rolling to dice and hoping for at least 10 points. The choices were slim in my league this week.

I think you're in good shape. Even if Teddy looks decent it won't be enough to threaten. The line isn't particularly good and the run threat is basically nil.

From a Fantasy stand point, I don't think it was a bad idea.

It is a no-brainer. Odds are greatly in your favor that a rookie QB will struggle during a game, not dominate. I have incorporated that strategy in fantasy for years and been successful with it.

Some might say Teddy'so having a darn good day.
