56,743??? Uh-Oh

For me this is a problem to be concerned about. In the past Mike Brown couldnt put a good product on the field so he couldnt be mad if people didnt come. Now going on thefourth straight year with a playoff team they are still fighting to sell out and not only that struggling to meet the 85 percent mark.

I dont think Mike Brown would do this. However he is a business man and the thought of going to LA And the money he could make with one of the best teams in the nfl has to be a thought. He would make a crap load more money as compared to having a winning team here that still has trouble getting people to go.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

The courage to change the things I can,

And the wisdom to know the difference.

You lessen your home field advantage when fans stay home.

The Bengals need 3.4% of adults to come each week to sell out, a fairly high percentage, but not impossible. If you want to go, go, and if you choose to go, yell like Hell.

If you're free seats ever need someone to fill them.....

I'm friends with SF41. I think we could drink enough beer and yell loud enough for you MTGL haha!

The Bengals have one of the sweetest stadium deals in the NFL. If Mike Brown feels he needs to move to La because he isn't makong money, and you believe him then you are as gullible as they come

The NFL is making money hands over fists and each team is also. If MB moves the team, selling out or not selling out has nothing to do with his decision to move. It may be his excuse but it doesn't fly.

So don't be gullible. I will never feel sorry for any NFL owner when it comes money.

I refuse to go to Bengal games, the fan experience is terrible. I'll take going to college games than going to and NFL game every day of the week.

No doubt.

Trending the wrong way.....

Attendance: 56,743 for Bengals vs. Titans on a beautiful sunny day.

Attendance 58,574 for Bengals vs Falcons on a beautiful sunny day.

Games remaining:

Oct 12 Carolina

Oct 26 Baltimore

Nov 2 Jacksonville

Nov 6 Cleveland

Dec 7 Pittsburgh

Dec 22 Denver

Pittsburgh and Denver will be the heaviest attendance and no problem.

Baltimore and Cleveland probably not a problem.

Carolina and Jacksonville????? Maybe if Bengals route Patriots and are 4-0

I don't mind the post and the discussion, but what does it mean?

Cincy fans are a hard sell?

Tickets are too expensive?

The Bengals home schedule isn't all that attractive?

Lots of other things to do in Cincy this time of the year?

PBS has a terrible fan experience?

I'll vote for a a portion of all of the above.

You lessen your home field advantage when fans stay home.

And to add to my above post, there is the quoted.

I choose to go to a game, and someone sitting near me decides I'm not "cheering" loud enough and therefore hurting "your" team's home field advantage. That would go over well.

I think it's two main things:

1.) Ticket prices are very high. Face value for lower level seats is $90 per ticket. Simply put, that's too much for most people.

2.) The "at home" experience is great. Now you can watch multiple games on a 60'' flat screen, eat homemade chili & drink beer. It's tough to beat.

I have a group 6-10 people that go over and tailgate. When everyone starts into the stadium we drive to my home and watch the game on my deck outside. Fire up the grill, play cornhole, drink cheap beer (that taste exactly the same as the $9.00 beers at PBS). At my house we are even permitted to drink after the 3rd quarter and beyond! I also have 2 TV's so we can watch the Red Zone Channel to keep up with the rest of the league. I have yet to witness a fight or put up with other obnoxious fans, I don't get searched, I don't need a JERK line, I don't have to wait in line for the bathroom, my food is much better and cheaper, parking is free, we are "kid friendly" and I don't have to wait in traffic. I, for one, think that the modern stadiums are too big. With the "home experience" so much better than the "game experience" I don't understand why people go to the games.

Never once said he wasn't making money, he definitely is making a good deal amount of money no matter what. What I said he possibly could make a whole lot more, especially if he has a winning team when they moved there. Which he is a business man, and so the possibility to make even more than he already does could possibly interest him.

x2, buddy

I'm still trying to figure out why all those corporations bought tickets but nobody ever sits in those seats. If you bought them, and aren't using them, give them away. Boys club, elementary school, fire fighters, military...someone would enjoy sitting there.
