Actually it's VH1. And yea I've watched it as well. Pretty much if there "naked" in the title I'm watching it.

I feel like on every occasion their partner warned them that it was a bad idea.

 

Back in my formative, rock-climbing years, I spent a summer in the Tetons and Colorado Rockies. I at long last messed up and contracted giardia from contaminated water. Bad news..."I thought I was gonna die"... However, it really took a couple of weeks after drinking the bad water for the protozoa to build up to a level to make me sick. How long are the people out on the show...is it really long enough to contract amoebic or bacterial infections from the water?

 

However, I wasn't naked, so maybe that changes the incubation period?

I've wondered if they have some kind of rule about the "essential item" thing. I don't think I've seen anyone bring anything that fires projectiles...a gun, a slingshot, a sling, a Hawaiian sling...

I've watched it but really don't understand the whole concept. Why do they have to be naked?

Love the show, it's no Dual Survival but it gets the job done. Like some have alluded to, firestarter is a must!

My understanding is that there's no "prize" money, but the 'contestants' are paid for the time they are filming. I would also be willing to bet that the daily rate of pay is upped over the course of the 21 days. In other words, you make more money for being there to film on day 21 than you do to be there on day 1.

Not to mention you are hungry, thirsty, and really, really dirty. If you don't do the romance thing within the first couple hours, while you're still somewhat clean and have energy, romance is probably the last thing on your mind.

I doubt we will ever see romance on the show because, um...GROSS. But, I wouldn't be surprised that at some point a couple starts a romantic relationship post-show.
