What is Green's toe injury?

They said turf toe. They also have said its a strained ligament in his foot. They did an mri and results came back negative. So it doesnt look serious. I just hope they rest him so it wont be a nagging thing all year.

I had flashbacks to JB and Icky today as I watched Bernard and Hill perform.

Ground game looks to be an excellent combo. D-Line also getting the job done.

We need to remember all the rules, especially Rule 13 in this thread:

13. Within reason, you must use correct spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and grammar when posting on the forums.

Can a cortezone (sp) work on a toe or will it numb the entire foot?

This team may be the most complete team they've had in a few decades. If they can do what teams like Pitt has done in the past with injuries and next man up and not miss a beat they may do some magical things.

If Nugent is the only one to complain about this year, I'm a happy man.

A dominant performance by the Bengals. It should have been much worse, too many stalled drives resulting in zero points. The injuries are worrisome but this team has one heck of a running combo.

Wait a minute last yeat I say this was the most talented team since the bengals made the super bowl and you completely disagree. Yet now The bengals basically bring back the exact same team except lose guys like Michael Johnson, Anthony Collins, and Andrew Hawkins. Jeremy hill is the only onethey added who may contribute much and maybe dennard if people get hurt. So they lose those guys and really only add Hill who is the only one that may contribute much and now you say its one of the most complete teams? One player difference is what made you fight that statement so hard last year and now agree with it? Lol

I mean I am glad you finally see that, but geez if you saw that last year it would have saved us a lot of post lol. Because just like last year was the most talented and best team since the bengals last super bowl. So is this years team because its basically the same team but with one more offensive addition. We are at a good time as bengal fans. Now we just have to first get back to the playoffs but then also win when there. Once again it will come down to dalton.

At least we should agree more this year lol.

Great question and I have no clue what the answer is.

The bengals have done a great job building this team alot like the Steelers and packers have. They didnt go overpay for free agents. They have built through the draft and even draft guys in advance when they know they will lose players like a Michael Johnson. They have drafted corners to eventually take over for their aging corners. They have also locked up their own talent beore they reach free agency like Dunlap, Atkins, Burfict, Dalton with a team friendly contract, next they need to get Green. They are not only built to win now but also the future still. Now they have to get it done when it counts in the playoffs.

There is a difference between most talented and complete in my dictionary. don't get all excited.

When I say most complete, I mean there is no real weakness among the starters on both sides of the ball. The most talented and deepest is different. I don't know if this team can do what we want them to do if AJ or Burfict sits out any length of time. If they were the most talented then they could fill in their spots and not miss a beat. Sorry but Tate does not take AJ's place.

Andy Dalton stats - 0 Interceptions - I'm ok with that.

Greenberg and Golic were raving this morning about how great the Bengals are. I have high hopes for the season but honestly I don't see anywhere close to "great" at this point. I do believe our Bengals have potential for a deep playoff run but I see so many things that need improving. I think this team is a decent team but still has a long way to go to be "great." The biggest thing is getting key guys healthy. Am I missing something since I have not been "wowed" by this team yet? I am very happy to be 2-0 however.

All in all was a good game by the Bengals. Loved the pass from Dalton to Sanu in the middle of the field for a TD. Good production from everybody on the field. Just hope everyone gets better the injuries get better.
