Hope they build on the strong ground game they showed today. Takes a lot of pressure off of Dalton

The Bengals depth has been tested the last two weeks. Including injuries to their two stars and even though you can't replace those guys they were able to overcome them and get two big wins.

I said this in the update thread but I sit Green and Burfict next week. It will be tough without them but worth it if it Getsthem is completely healthy for the rest of the year. This gives them two full weeks off with the bye.

Maybe sit Burfict . But don't we have an early bye week? Play with bumps and bruises till then.

Week 4. So if they sit next week, they two weeks to heal. I agree with FC

Our two stars have injuries that can be nagging injuries all year long. We have a chance to rest them two weeks to get healthy and only miss one full game. Instead of possibly missing more games or going out of games a lot later in the year. Think big picture and big picture is if we cantry to get them healthy by only missing one whole game, then you do it imo.

This looks like the year they take the next step. Who Dey!

100% agree about sitting Burfict and Green next week. Tennessee's not horrible, but I'm very confident they can beat them at home without those 2.

Pretty impressed with this team as a whole so far. Their top 3 receiving options were out today and they really didn't miss a beat offensively. Dalton again had some bad throws, but as was mentioned in another thread, there's a difference between bad throws and bad decision throws. He's made zero of the latter thus far.

Of all the teams I've watched so far, the Bengals strike me as the most complete team on both sides of the ball.

The talent and all that is there and has been the last two years. It just comes down to dalton playing at least solid football and thats what he has done. Hasnt been great but overall pretty solid.

Also obviously getting healthy especially their star players will be key.

This team could be special. They just have so many weapons. It was great to see them be able to pound the ball. The only real negative in this game was their early lack of getting 7 when they get into r near the red zone and then Nugent missing two pretty makeable FG's. The 55 yarder to end the half was most times out of his range.

The defense is tough, AD didn't put the ball in harm's way and after a rough start with three missed overthrows, he settled in and was efficient. Gio and Hill were just wearing the Falcons out.

Overall, I am pleased that they have pretty much dominated two pretty good teams.

Not bad for a team with alot of injuries to still win games. Especially when everyone freaked out after the first preseason game about how bad the second and third teamers were and many guys who didnt make the team. You would have thought the bengals were screwed these first two weeks after hearing all that especially when the star players now got hurt.

Defensive line has done better that I thought with the dings they are getting. Atkins still has a ways to go to get back to former self. their DB's have been playing lights out except for the Jones being burned last week. They are making the tackles, therefore limiting the YAC.

Offensively the Titans are going to have a week to prepare for the running game and Gio. They probably won't worry too much about Green. Some guys will have to step up again. I know some people bash Tate, but he played pretty well today.

D line definitely a concern at dt still. However overall people freaked out about guys who didnt make the team lol overall depth is better than most teams. Now if all are backups played at same time it would be bad lol. But we have good enough backups to still do well when mixed in with starters. Thats why I didnt get why people freaked out so much after a pre season game lol the bengals dealt with many injuries last year too and still did well which showed the overall teal depth and talent.

However obviuosly we will be much better off if our starters especially are stars just stay healthy lol.

The titans game will be a tough onee especially if thwy sit burfict and green like I think they should. Hopefully they can pull it out and be undefeated going into the bye week and get healthy.
