Nice job Birds!!

John Hardin is 0 - 4 on the season now. Why are the Bulldogs struggling so much this season?

Absolute complete game. Great job Birds!

Saw a whole lot to like tonight!

They are very young.

They are very young.

Young and very weak Junior and Senior classes.

Get 'em now while they're young.

John Hardin's schedule has not been easy either. Going into tonight, their 4 opponents were 10-0. Coming out of tonight their opponents are now 12-0 with the Seneca vs Fern Creek results still unknown.

Add to that only one home game so far.

Urlage ran the ball well tonight and Beau threw some very nice balls.

The JH secondary was not very good, a couple times balls hung up and they let Vennaman make the catch when I thought they could have made a play on the ball. Vennaman was running by everyone tonight. I honestly do not know if there is a DB in NKY or the state that can stay with him.

Birds got out of this one injury free so that is good as they get closer to CovCath in 2 weeks.

Well the naysayers can rest a little after tonight I guess. The scores of the Campbell and Bryan Station games seem to give the Birds a little more credibility than some had originally.

Thought they ran the ball extremely well tonight and I am still amazed at the laser that Beau Hoge threw near the end of the half. What I have been most impressed with him however is his maturity along with exhibiting all of the traits of being a leader. The kid flat out gets it and it is a shame that kids from other sports at HHS do not emulate what he does on the field.

Get 'em now while they're young.

Got that right. I know of another team in there area who is in the same boat. Back to back classes with extremely low numbers and overall talent in those upper classes. Makes for a long couple years.

Everybody get their punches in on John now, b/c come 16, 17, 18..the last three years of the new realignment, everybody be prepared to see a show.

What is CCH thinking at this point? Birds looked good in all aspects of the game.

What is CCH thinking at this point? .

A lot are thinking "Where exactly is Henderson County?"

Huh?

Highlands will need to continue to get better next week. Yes a great game last night but by all accounts from JH fans. This years JH team just isn't any good. I call bull on that but HHS needs to stay the. Purse and think about PT next week.

As Tdy stated, very nice complete game by the Birds last nite...

Hoge continued to show why he may be perhaps the best QB in the State when he threw an absolute laser to Venneman in the second half...I asked him last nite after the game and he admitted to me that he did not realized he could make the throw until after he released it. This is very scary to think we still have not seen the best out of Beau just yet.

Joe Dressman had a huge nite from his LB position on Defense as did Roco Pangallo...Defensively, Highlands is beginning to understand and buy into the scheme that is being taught and are playing disciplined football...

Just a few things to clean up in the couple of weeks before the big dog and pony show at DCM, Highlands has certainly been content with playing the underdog role this yr which should make this a great game:thumb:
