lawildcat Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Prayers going out today to all who lost their lives or lost someone they love on 9/11. Special prayers to my sister-in-law, her family and the CovCath community on the loss of one of their own. RIP.

Wireman Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I'll never be able to forget almost every detail of that morning in 2001.
MJAlltheWay24 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I'm not sure how one could ever forget. I was talking to someone over the weekend and it will definitely be my generation's, "Where were you when..."
75center Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I also remember it clearly. My most vivid memory is picking my son up from Kindergarten and while watching him play in the yard with our dog I thought "his world will never be the same and he doesn't even realize it".
Wireman Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I think the memory that sticks out to me the most is how bright blue the sky was that afternoon and there were no planes. I'll always remember the news breaking in on the Morehead radio station. We thought it was some sort of bizarre joke at first. Then, I got to class and the professor told us to stay if we wanted or to go be with our families if we felt compelled to do so. I watched the second plane hit live during that class as we all gathered around the television.
NKY Bandit Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Was at work, and caught a glimpse of it on the lobby TV. I'll never forget that day.
Voice of Reason Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Thoughts and prayers out today to all those families impacted by 9/11 and what has followed in Iraq and around the world. And thanks to all those who have served in this fight from first responders here to our service men and women worldwide.
doomer Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I was signing a document this morning, and noted to the person waiting the date. That followed with the brief conversation of where were you when... I hope we don't have to have another day/weeks like that again.
D-Rob Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 MSNBC is showing the Today Show live as it happened in 2001. Surreal to watch it live like I did 13 years ago.
TheDeuce Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 MSNBC is showing the Today Show live as it happened in 2001. Surreal to watch it live like I did 13 years ago. I've got it recording so I can watch it tonight...

Clyde Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Agreed. My oldest was early in his frosh year at CCH in the old building. Hard to believe. I should add that my youngest is now in the Navy. He was 8.
Wireman Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 @AriFleischer · 6m After the 3rd plane hit the Pentagon, we were told there were 3 aircraft "missing". After Flight 93, we thought 2 more attacks coming.

When we find out who did this, they're not going 2like me as President." @AriFleischer · 13m (2/2) Bush to VP (cont): "Sombody's going to pay." Ari is a very interesting follow on Twitter. He gives a lot of insight and details.
