Butler had two key 4th down stops in that playoff loss. Had just one gone the other way, the outcome could have been different. SK has produced 3 D1 athletes in its history. Butler had 3 D1 athletes last year!

Like I said in one of my posts, I am beyond discussing the coach's poll. Just happens we are in this thread. I am clearly trying to counsel SK on how to bring home the trophy!!! If they would just listen to me...

You have a solid group of Sophomores including the QB but all are unproven especially the QB. Your numbers in the program are still pretty good and you want to keep them growing. What do you change about the current 2 year schedule?

SK has beat the Collins 2 years in row something CovCath and Highlands no nothing about.

So by your example Higlands and Cov Cath should drop down and play mostly 2A and 1A schools because that is what you are saying here since SK's big game you keep bragging about is beating a winless team who is 2 classes lower than SK

It was set the summer before that year just like next years schedule is set before this season started. Nice try though.

Ryle plays a super tough schedule and SK still crushes them by 30!

Others have no issue with SK's schedule. What we have an issue with is you and NKY using this years schedule as reason why SK should be #1 or #2 in the polls.

 

No gripe at all about the schedule if you simply talk about what it is instead of gloating like beating 3 winless teams is a huge feat. Especially when those 3 teams are in smaller classes.

 

Talk about the team, not who they beat because everytime you bring up Collins all if Kenton and Boone county laughs.

I do the same thing I described. I call Cov cath and HHS. Then a Cincy school. Want proof? I am the head coach at HHS for their fast pitch team. I took over 2 years ago. The year before I took over, the team was 10-19. We beefed up the schedule and out in extra training my first year. After the first year, we were 18-12. In our second year we added 7 out of state teams including several large, very good Ohio teams. In our second year, we won the ninth region and went to state. My kids learned how to play against bigger, stronger and faster kids and we built on that. When we got to the end of the season, we were prepared. We finished the final game of the region on a 19 game winning streak and ended up 27-11 with one of the toughest schedules in the state.

 

I don't tell you that to brag on our program. I tell you that so you know that I would absolutely do what im telling you.
