Looks good. I am not sure what the purpose is in playing Bullitt Central as I don't see how that helps make the team better, but maybe they play a style SK wants to face.

And that schedule would reflect the improvements made in the program. AND I am one that sees nothing wrong with a 2 or 3 A state champion on your schedule for one of your games even if you are 6A.

Start an SK schedule thread if you'd like. It seems to me that all you guys want to say is that SK's opponents aren't any good. Give the kids/coaches credit for doing what they should have done in those games and let it go. Enough schedule talk. Is this team the West Canaan Coyotes? Maybe. We don't know yet. Could they be state champs? Maybe. Scott Co wasn't the trendy pick last year either. SK is a program on the rise, their heading in the right direction. Ryle plays a super tough schedule and SK still crushes them by 30!

But lets cut the coach some slack on this schedule. I mean when the schedule was made (2 year schedule I might add) they had not been having success. I would be much more inclined to be critical next year when the new schedule comes out if it contained the same level of non district opponents. And lets face it why would a Cincy school schedule them if they were 2-9. Would kill them in their rating system.

If a team was 2-9 in 2011 their schedule just three seasons later is about where it should be. Holy Cross has taken an absolute nose dive since the state title. But in all seriousness being just 2 full seasons removed from 2-9 I think their schedule is about right. Now the next time through (next season's schedule) SK should be showing an upgrade on this past two year schedule cycle. We shall see.

We are just fine with outsiders not buying our product. In fact, our product is not for sale!

To be blunt. I don't care about outsiders. We're talking about a coach's poll that ranked SK 2nd, up 1 spot. Those coaches are local and should know who the better teams are- unless their letting the diving coach fill it out for them.

I also agree that them jumping ahead of CovCath surprised me because of the level of teams that they each played. As far as the poll is concerned I also would have reservations about Lloyd as well. Beating Dayton and Holmes does not make me feel they have proven anything yet. Newport might even be in that same boat.

Your right Highlands is 1-1 against Collins the last two years...would you trade that 2-0 record for what the one win Highlands got the last two years...thought so....games that mean something!
