Bob Allen Pigskin Classic this week features two 1-0 teams. Both teams showed in week 0 that they can be a formidible force in their districts and region.

Should be a good one. I am pulling for Jerry Perry and Garrard County!

Danville seems to better than what I thought based on their first game performance. There is a lot of excitement around the Ads program right now, and deservedly so. I think Perry has GC ready for this one though.

This should be a great game. I'll be listening to this one when not listening to BG/LexCath.

Danville has a new attitude. I'll take them 31-28 over Garrard County.

Should be a great game and has a great plot behind it of the guy who is Danville's coach and the guy who was passed over for the job. Both teams looked good in week 1, so I expect a close and competitive game. I'm going to take the Admirals, though, 24-20.

2 really good teams with 2 really good defenses. Gonna be a slugfest. Im going with Garrard 14-13

If Garrard beats Danville, it will be their first even real win against the Admirals. (Garrard got a forfeit victory in 2004 after Danville used an ineligible player). Interestingly, considering the closeness of the towns and the fact that they share a district in everything but football, this will only be the 8th all-time meeting. Danville won three straight from 1970-72, then won twice in 1997 and 1998 when this was a Class AA district game. This will be the third meeting in the Bob Allen Pigskin Classic, and first since the 2011 classic, when Danville came back in the second half to beat Garrard 22-14, holding the Lions on a late 4th down deep in Danville territory.

24-20 Danville

I would love to see GC win this game, but I think this will be a big test for Garrard. If they do pull out a W then it will be close and low scoring. I don't see GC outscoring Danville's offense. Garrard's defense is much improved and will be tested all night at every position especially in the secondary!

Danville 28 Garrard County 14. Should be a great game, but I think the ADS have too much speed!

I agree as I would love to see Perry beat Danville.

I hope Garrard pulls out the win but they will have to have some success throwing the ball to win Friday night and the rest of the season.
